Growing a Better Community.
Located in the River District neighborhood in Liberty Lake we are an artisan small urban farm and community garden. It is our mission to provide locally grown and sourced fresh fruit and vegetables to the local community; support local small farms; and build a sense of community through gardening education and volunteer opportunities.

Greenhouse
Our 900 square foot greenhouse features the opportunity to grow or purchase starter vegetable and flower plants and seedlings. Educational programs allow the opportunity to work with an experienced farmer to start your own vegetables and flowers from seed.
The greenhouse allows you the opportunity to plant your own vegetable or flower starts and cure vegetables for long term storage.
Community Garden Plots
We have planting beds available for growing vegetables and flowers as a cooperative community activity as well as smaller plots for individual use.
Community gardens plots are sold out for this year.
Fruit Orchard
Our orchard has 50+ trees and includes a wide variety of fruit available for u-pick or for sale in the farm stand.
Farm Store
The River District Farm Stand provides you with the opportunity to buy the very best in locally grown produce. We have a variety of seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables and more both from our farm or sourced from other local farms. We are open seasonally on Saturdays, during some farm events, and additional weekdays during peak season. Check the Farm Store page or our social media pages for details.
Our Philosophy
Nourish our community with sustainably-grown food, to be a model of farm viability and to improve the health of families in our local community. Our produce is grown naturally, following sustainable, organic principles & practices.
History of the Land
We acknowledge that the land we are on at River District Farm is the ancestral territory of the indigenous Ktunaxa, Schitsu’umsh (CdA), and Spokane tribes, who have been known to live here for thousands of years. These native peoples have stewarded the land, the Spokane River and all its bountiful resources with deeply held principles of respect, harmony and reciprocity. It is our mission to continue this stewardship.
